Shard of the Monolith Malphite

Malphite, the Shard of the Monolith, is a playable champion in the multiplayer online battle arena game League of Legends. Malphite wanders Runeterra, remembering his purpose given to him by Ne'Zuk: to fight the Void. He is prepared to fight the forces of the Void to protect the people of Runeterra. In-game, Malphite is often played as a top, mid, or support champion, known for his tankiness and strong team fight initiation. His abilities include Granite Shield, Seismic Shard, Thunderclap, and Unstoppable Force. Malphite is a champion that is easy for new players to pick up, and he can become very powerful in team fights. He is able to increase his survivability and damage output through the right itemization. Malphite is also a champion who needs to be careful about his matchups, as he can be countered by champions with high sustained damage and healing.
