the Prophet of the Void Malzahar

Malzahar, the Prophet of the Void, is a zealous seer who believes the newly emerged Void to be the gateway to Runeterra's salvation. In the desert wastes of Shurima, he opened his mind to the universe, and the whispers that answered led him to Icathia. Amidst the ruins of that land, he gazed into the dark heart of the Void itself, and emerged transformed, a shepherd empowered to bring others into the fold or unleash the voidling creatures that dwell beneath. Once a Shuriman fortune teller capable of seeing the future, he abandoned his worldly possessions after realizing the pain of humanity and the corruption of the world, embarking on a quest to seek out the void. Reaching Icathia, he came into contact with the Void, emerging as an empowered disciple. He is now dedicated to accelerating the world towards oblivion, seeing it as a form of salvation, recruiting followers and utilizing void powers for dominion. Malzahar is characterized by the void energy-induced hole in the top of his head, which enables him to channel void creatures and unleash their power. He has a close connection with the Void Empress Bel'Veth, who aids his goal of bringing the void to Runeterra.
