the Fallen Morgana

The Fallen Morgana is a complex character in League of Legends, torn between her celestial and mortal natures. She rejected her celestial heritage, choosing to embrace humanity and inflict pain and bitterness on the dishonest and corrupt. Morgana defies what she deems unjust laws and traditions, fighting for truth from the shadows of Demacia. She wields shields and chains of dark fire, and believes that even the banished and outcast can rise again. Born during the Rune Wars to the Aspect of Justice, Mihira, Morgana initially served as a Winged Protector of Demacia alongside her twin sister, Kayle, but eventually broke away. She became known as the Veiled Lady, offering aid to those society had forsaken. Outside the game, Morgana's name may be inspired by Morgan le Fay from Arthurian legend, and in-game relates to her mother, Mihira. Morgana is a control mage with potent crowd control and survivability, protecting allies and restricting enemy actions.
