the Tidecaller Nami

Nami, also known as the Tidecaller, is a Vastayan from the sea in League of Legends. Her tribe, the Marai, dwells in the deep waters west of Mount Targon, where a dark rift consumes life. To protect their people, the Marai placed a moonstone gem at the center of their village, relying on its light to fend off abyssal creatures. Every hundred years, the moonstone's light begins to fade, and the strongest warrior is given the title of "Tidecaller." This Tidecaller must journey into the rift and retrieve an abyssal pearl to exchange with a landwalker from Targon for a new moonstone. Nami always aspired to be the Tidecaller but was deemed too impulsive, and the elders chose the prudent Rasho. However, when Rasho failed to return, Nami ventured into the abyss herself and successfully retrieved the pearl. Upon reaching the shore, she discovered that the Aspect of the Moon had left Targon, making the exchange impossible. To find the Aspect, Nami embarked on a journey, using her Tidecaller staff to create a pool beneath her fins, venturing onto land.
