the Curator of the Sands Nasus

Nasus, also known as the Curator of the Sands, is a powerful champion in League of Legends. He is an Ascended being from ancient Shurima with a jackal head, revered as a demigod by the desert people. Nasus possesses exceptional intelligence, serving as a guardian of knowledge and an unparalleled strategist whose wisdom once guided the Shuriman empire to greatness. After the empire's fall, he chose self-imposed exile, becoming a legend. Now, with the ancient city of Shurima rising again, Nasus has returned, determined to ensure it never falls again. Nasus displayed remarkable brilliance from a young age, mastering the greatest works of Shuriman history and philosophy. He later became the empire's youngest general, renowned for his strategic foresight. Despite his success, he did not relish war, believing his greatest contribution to Shurima was the knowledge he gathered and preserved. Through the Ascension ritual, Nasus gained immense power, but it also burdened him with great responsibility and sorrow. Sealed in the Tomb of the Emperors with his brother Renekton, he was eventually freed, and now his strength will continue to protect Shurima, as he yearns for reunion with his brother.
