the Joy Unbound Nilah

Nilah, also known as "The Joy Unbound," is an ascetic warrior from a distant land in League of Legends. She seeks out the world's deadliest, most titanic opponents, eager to challenge and destroy them. Nilah's power stems from an encounter with the long-imprisoned demon of joy. She sacrificed all other emotions for immense strength, leaving her with only unceasing jubilation. She channels the demon's liquid form into a blade of unparalleled might, defying ancient, long-forgotten threats. Once a bookish child obsessed with Kathkan mythology, particularly the primordial demon Ashlesh, who consumed extreme joy, Nilah discovered the demon's prison and battled it for a decade, ultimately gaining its power. She then embarked on a legendary quest, battling mythical creatures and partnering with the Sentinels of Light to try and stop the spread of the Ruined King Viego’s magic. Known for her unsettling smile and perpetual joy, she is determined to protect those who cannot protect themselves.
