the Battle Mistress Sivir

Sivir, also known as the Battle Mistress, is a renowned fortune hunter and mercenary captain in League of Legends, plying her trade in the deserts of Shurima. Armed with her legendary jeweled crossblade, she has fought and won countless battles for those who can afford her exorbitant price. Sivir is known for her fearless resolve and endless ambition, and she prides herself on recovering buried treasures from the perilous tombs of Shurima—for a generous bounty. With ancient forces stirring the very bones of Shurima, Sivir finds herself torn between conflicting destinies. From an early age, Sivir learned firsthand the harsh lessons of Shuriman desert life. With her entire family slain by marauding Kthaons, she and other orphans survived by stealing food and scavenging ruins for trinkets. After being betrayed by a friend, she vowed never to be betrayed again, joining a band of mercenaries led by Iha Ziharo. Sivir became Ziharo's sergeant but grew tired of the leader taking the lion's share of the wealth. Sivir eventually overthrew her mentor and became the leader. Later, during a mission, she acquired the Chalicar, a powerful cross-shaped weapon that seemed to resonate with her. She was then betrayed and nearly killed by Cassiopeia but resurrected by Azir, the last ruler of Shurima, and drawn into a larger conflict.
