the Fiery Fledgling Smolder

Smolder, the Fiery Fledgling, is a champion in League of Legends. Long before the lands of Camavor were named, dragons dwelled there. When mortals arrived, conflict ensued. The strife was quelled when the first king of Camavor humbled himself before the dragon matriarch, pleading for her strength for his armies. Thus, the dragon known as Grandmother Viper and the Camavoran ruler swore the oath of Vol Visperi-Desinvein, binding their lineages. Dragons remained loyal to the throne, rewarded with livestock and offerings. Centuries later, King Viego called upon the dragons, who refused due to his madness. A new dragon hatchling, Smolder, was born after centuries. Captured by Noxian beastmasters, Smolder was rescued by his mother, but was swept to a nearby island where he befriended a human boy named Marinos. Smolder learned to breathe fire, causing a forest fire, which led to his mother finding him. She now teaches him of his lineage and responsibilities. Smolder currently resides with his mother on a cliffside, awaiting their return to Camavor to usher in a new golden age.
