the Rebel Xayah

Xayah, also known as "the Rebel", is a Vastayan revolutionary in League of Legends, waging a personal war to save her people. She is known for her speed, guile, and razor-sharp feather blades, which she uses to cut down anyone who stands in her way. Xayah fights alongside her partner and lover, Rakan, to protect their dwindling tribe and restore their race to her vision of its former glory. From childhood, she loved listening to her father sing folk-hymns about ancient Vastayan heroes, songs that transported her to a time when magic danced freely on the island of Qaelin. But with the encroachment of humans, the tribes gradually lost their connection to the spirit realm. Xayah refused to accept her tribe's withdrawal and instead resolved to rebel against the humans, vowing to use her lethal feather blades to unleash the land's wild magic. She became known as "the Violet Raven", flitting through enemy strongholds, leaving a trail of bodies, making her a fearsome symbol. Though she once preferred to act alone, her meeting with Rakan changed everything. Their complementary personalities and shared goals made them a powerful duo, allowing them to rally more Vastayans to their cause and reclaim their homeland.
