In his backstory, he was part of the American "Soldier Enhancement Program," possessing superhuman strength, speed, and agility. After the fall of Overwatch, he emerged as "Soldier: 76," launching attacks on financial institutions, shadowy corporations, and former Overwatch facilities to uncover the truth and bring justice.
