Mei

Mei-Ling Zhou, commonly known as “Mei,” is a Damage hero in both Overwatch and its sequel, Overwatch 2. She is a Chinese climatologist dedicated to preserving the environment. While stationed at the Ecopoint: Antarctica, a sudden blizzard forced her and her team into cryostasis. Upon waking nine years later, she discovered that she was the sole survivor, and the world had drastically changed. Overwatch had disbanded and the climate crisis worsened. Mei is equipped with her own climate-manipulation technology, including her Endothermic Blaster, capable of firing frost streams and icicles, as well as her Ice Wall and Cryo-Freeze abilities. She rejoined Overwatch, using her scientific knowledge and tech to combat global threats. Mei is known for her optimistic and kind nature, as well as her resilience in the face of adversity. She is also often accompanied by her AI drone companion, Snowball.
