Torbjörn

Torbjörn Lindholm, commonly known as Torbjörn, is a Damage hero in both Overwatch and Overwatch 2. He is a Swedish weapons designer and engineer renowned for his expertise in mechanical engineering. Torbjörn had designed weapon systems for countries worldwide and was involved in the Ironclad Guild. He held a strong skepticism toward artificial intelligence, believing technology should serve humanity's vision, not be controlled by computer intelligence. During the Omnic Crisis, his fears materialized as robots attacked humans. He joined the original Overwatch strike team, playing a critical role in ending the crisis. After the disbandment of Overwatch, he dedicated himself to preventing his weapons from falling into the wrong hands. Torbjörn's abilities include using a Rivet Gun and Forge Hammer, and deploying an automated turret. His ultimate ability, Molten Core, creates pools of damaging lava. He shares a close relationship with his teammate Reinhardt, and his adoption of a friendly Bastion robot has led him to re-evaluate his prejudices against robots.
