Junkrat

Junkrat, real name Jamison Fawkes, is a Damage hero in Overwatch. He is an explosives-obsessed maniac who lives to cause chaos and destruction. He is a Junker from the irradiated Australian outback after the omnium explosion, and the long-term radiation has driven him mad, developing a morbid love for explosives. Junkrat employs a variety of unique weapons and abilities, including a Frag Launcher that lobs bouncing grenades, Concussion Mines that send enemies flying, and Steel Traps that immobilize foes. His ultimate ability allows him to control an explosive RIP-Tire to inflict heavy damage. Junkrat excels at area denial with his traps and indirect fire, and is valued for his high damage output and zone control. His weapon's nature makes him less effective in close combat. He formed an alliance with another Junker named Roadhog, together they commit crimes across the globe, sowing chaos and mayhem. Junkrat's madness and love for explosions make him unpredictable and dangerous. Junkrat also appears in Heroes of the Storm as a Ranged Assassin with similar abilities and gameplay.
