She is part of the second generation of Hololive English, debuting alongside Tsukumo Sana, Ceres Fauna, Ouro Kronii, and Hakos Baelz. Mumei is the Guardian of "Civilization," embodying it as an owl, a symbol of wisdom. As a living representation of human civilization, she has vast knowledge and experience, yet is often forgetful, even of her own name. She is known for her gentle and hardworking nature, but also for a slightly morbid side, creating a unique duality in her personality. Mumei engages in diverse content such as gaming, drawing, and singing. She frequently interacts with her fans, who are called "Hoomans," a combination of "humans" and the owl sound "hoo." Her endearing voice and entertaining streams have garnered her much popularity, making her a highly beloved VTuber.
