ROF-MAO

ROF-MAO (ろふまお) is a male virtual idol unit under the virtual YouTuber group NIJISANJI, operated by ANYCOLOR Inc. The unit consists of four members: Hayato Kagami, Touya Kenmochi, Minato Fuwa, and Haru Kaida. Their name comes from the English internet slang "ROFL" (rolling on the floor laughing) and "LMAO" (laughing my ass off), aiming to be an "interesting and cool unit" loved by both men and women. ROF-MAO is known for their challenging variety shows, music activities, and real-life filming that breaks away from the traditional image of virtual YouTubers. Their signature program is "Moku 10! ROF-MAO Juku" on YouTube, where the four members often take on various challenges, including enduring electric shocks. Beyond variety, ROF-MAO has also achieved significant success in music, releasing multiple albums and singles, and becoming the first official NIJISANJI unit to surpass 1 million subscribers on their YouTube channel on August 25, 2024.
