Passenger

Passenger, also known as 异客, is a six-star Chain Caster Operator in the game Arknights (明日方舟 / アークナイツ). Hailing from Sargon, he is a former black market technology specialist with expertise in mechanical engineering and Originium Arts (electricity). Passenger's attacks involve chain lightning that jumps between enemies, dealing Arts damage and briefly slowing them. His skills include enhancing the damage and slowing effect of his next attack, increasing his attack range and jump count, and summoning a lightning storm in dense enemy areas. Although Passenger possesses a unique skill set and high damage potential, his high deployment cost, slow attack interval, and the randomness of his skills make it difficult for him to fully realize his strength in practice. Consequently, some players consider him underpowered and require specific modules to improve his usability. However, when enemies are positioned to benefit from his chain attacks, Passenger can still inflict considerable area-of-effect damage. His backstory describes his transformation from a brilliant scientific assistant to a black market leader, as well as his passion for revenge and technology.
