Windflit

Windflit, codenamed 'Windflit', is a 5-star Supporter operator in Arknights, belonging to the Artificer sub-class. He hails from a poor working-class family in Columbia, and through his own efforts, he entered a prestigious university to study mechanical engineering. After graduating, he joined Rhodes Island, becoming a mechanical engineer primarily responsible for designing and manufacturing Originium mechanical devices to support combat operations. Windflit is introverted and harbors some animosity towards operators from affluent backgrounds, but in reality, he is a diligent and capable engineer. In battle, he is a melee unit that can deploy 'Reliable Batteries' to provide ATK buffs to Caster and Supporter operators. Although his damage output and support capabilities might not be outstanding in terms of raw numbers, his unique skill mechanics and base skills give him strategic value in the team. When Windflit first joined Rhodes Island, he showed some introverted tendencies and had obvious animosity towards operators from affluent backgrounds. This is because he grew up in a poor family and witnessed firsthand his parents' struggle to make ends meet. He successfully entered a prestigious university through his efforts to study mechanical engineering and eventually found work at Rhodes Island. He yearns to use his skills to help ordinary workers like his parents and create a better life for them. At Rhodes Island, Windflit is assigned to the Engineering Department, responsible for designing and manufacturing Originium mechanical devices and supporting frontline operators. His devices sometimes carry the risk of exploding, but they always bring new functionalities. Although his devices may need further iterations on the battlefield to reach their optimal state, Windflit's creativity and hard work cannot be ignored.
