Erato

Erato is a 5-star Besieger Sniper Operator in Arknights from Minos, skilled in both music and combat. She became known for repelling invaders during Minos's war against Sargon. Intrigued by the heroic tales of the "Goddess of Victory," Pallas, she followed her to Rhodes Island, eager to meet this fellow countrywoman. However, she was disillusioned to discover that Pallas was not a perfect idol, but rather an alcoholic with no redeeming qualities. Determined to prove the true strength of a Minos hero, Erato joined Rhodes Island, becoming a sniper adept at putting enemies to sleep before attacking them. Her Talent, "Dreamscape Sonata," allows her to attack sleeping enemies, ignoring part of their DEF after being promoted to Elite 1. Her first skill, "Soothing Lullaby," inflicts sleep with her next attack, while her second skill, "Hero's Ballad," increases her ATK and ASPD, prioritizing sleeping targets. Erato excels in sleep-focused team compositions, her abilities complementing operators that deal bonus damage to sleeping enemies. While she doesn't primarily inflict sleep herself, her skills allow her to enable it or synergize with other operators that can, maximizing her damage output. Despite the tricky sleep mechanics for beginners, Erato remains an accessible and strong Besieger Sniper.
