Jieyun

Jieyun, also known as 截云, is a 5-star operator in the game Arknights. She is a Sniper of the Artilleryman archetype. Hailing from the northwestern desert of Yan, she is a member of the Anasa tribe, a unique race in the Terra world. In her background story, Jieyun was a desert dweller who joined Rhodes Island seeking treatment for Oripathy. She wields a giant chakram to attack, dealing physical damage to enemies in an area and slowing them down. Jieyun's talent, "First Step into the Wilderness," increases her attack and reduces her DP cost on her first deployment. Her skills include increasing her attack and attack speed, and throwing her chakram to inflict AOE damage and slow enemies. Although other operators may replace her later in the game, she is a useful welfare operator, especially in early maps. Jieyun's character story also explores her connection with a deceased mentor and her unique cultural understanding of her home, including a different perspective on Oripathy.
