Verdant

Verdant, also known as 维荻, is a 4-star Specialist operator in the game Arknights, affiliated with Rhodes Island. He is a plant hunter from Victoria, skilled in botany, bioengineering, and pharmacology. Verdant was once a promising botany student at university, but was forced to drop out due to contracting Oripathy. He loves plants and has a keen eye for them. After joining Rhodes Island, he not only acts as a field operator but also participates in the Medical Department's drug development program. Verdant's combat style is unique, using a self-made "scarecrow" as a substitute and wielding a spray-equipped saw. He is introverted and cold to strangers, but gentle inside, and will help other operators care for plants. Verdant is a highly survivable operator on the battlefield, with a unique "substitute" mechanic that allows him to switch to his "scarecrow" to continue fighting when taking lethal damage.
