Doc

In Arknights, “Doc” or “Doctor” is a complex and enigmatic character. He serves as the player’s avatar and a key figure in the story. Awakening from a long sleep with amnesia, he displays remarkable command abilities and medical knowledge, particularly in neurology and Oripathy research. He was a leader within Babel and now acts as a leader and military strategist for Rhodes Island. Often seen with his face concealed, he is described as having dark gray eyes and snow-white hair. Beyond combat, he engages in research, paperwork, and mentors younger operators. His past is shrouded in hints suggesting he may be a member of the ancient "Predecessor" race and played a vital role in the creation of Originium, potentially linked to Theresa’s death. Additionally, a separate character named “Doc”, Gustave Kateb, from the Rainbow Six Siege crossover, is a medical expert who collaborates with Rhodes Island. In the game, he is a 5-star operator capable of ranged attacks and healing, a support-oriented character. Therefore, "Doc" in Arknights refers to both a mysterious protagonist and a crossover character.
