Ascalon

Ascalon is a significant character in the game *Arknights*, affiliated with Rhodes Island's S.W.E.E.P. branch, and also serves as an R.I. field operative. She was previously a member of the Military Commission and a follower of Regent Theresis, but defected to Babel due to ideological differences. She witnessed the fall of Babel and blames herself for not being present to protect Theresa during the siege, as she was sent away on a mission by the Doctor. Since then, she has remained close to Kal'tsit, determined not to repeat her past mistakes, and vows to make those who killed Theresa pay. Ascalon is skilled in infiltration and counter-infiltration, wielding an armblade called "Avenger," a gift from Theresis, which Theresa helped her wear. In combat, she damages all enemies within her range, has a 50% chance to dodge physical and arts attacks, and is less likely to be targeted. Her talent, "Death Custody," reduces enemy movement speed and inflicts continuous arts damage. Ascalon plays a crucial role in the storyline and first appears as a supporting character in Episode 10. Her personnel files are quite mysterious, with many mission records omitted, making her even more enigmatic.
