Phantom Foxy

Phantom Foxy is a minor antagonist in Five Nights at Freddy's 3 and one of the six phantom animatronics. He is a hallucination of a burnt and ravaged Foxy. Phantom Foxy closely resembles Withered Foxy from Five Nights at Freddy's 2, but lacks eyes and instead has a white pupil in his left eye socket. He is missing his right forearm and hook, which can be seen in the parts box in the Office. Phantom Foxy's mouth is always agape, even during his jumpscare. Parts of his torso are missing, exposing his endoskeleton spine and wires. Unlike previous appearances, his eyepatch no longer flips up. Phantom Foxy appears charred or burnt, possibly foreshadowing the establishment's torching. He lacks a movement pattern, randomly appearing in front of the parts box in the Office. If the player does not raise the Monitor before looking at him, he will lunge, disabling the ventilation system. His appearance frequency increases as the week progresses. On mobile, Phantom Foxy randomly jumpscares the player when lowering the Maintenance Panel, making him nearly unavoidable, but his foot might be seen under the panel as a warning. He is not seen on cameras and is the only phantom animatronic without a jumpscare warning. In FNaF World, Phantom Foxy is an unlockable character, retaining his charred and ghostly appearance with similar attack capabilities.
