Nightmare

Nightmare is a nightmare animatronic who first appears in Five Nights at Freddy's 4 as the game's final antagonist. He is a recolored and slightly translucent version of Nightmare Fredbear. Nightmare's appearance is almost identical to Nightmare Fredbear's, with the only major differences being that the costume color is changed to black, and the bow-tie and top hat are changed from purple to yellow. In brightened images, Nightmare's costume is revealed to be translucent, as if his endoskeleton is cloaked in shadow, making it possible to see much of his endoskeleton. The only exception is around his mouth, which appears to have existing material ripped away from it. In Ultimate Custom Night, Nightmare informs the player of their death in a cruel and sadistic manner, and he enjoys mocking his victims. He speaks using a deep, monstrous voice, fitting his name. Nightmare's behavior and appearance are highly terrifying, making him one of the most iconic characters in the Five Nights at Freddy's series.
