Nightmare BB

Nightmare Balloon Boy, often shortened to Nightmare BB, is a major antagonist in the Five Nights at Freddy's series. He first appeared in the Halloween Update for Five Nights at Freddy's 4 and later reappeared in Ultimate Custom Night. Nightmare BB's appearance is similar to the original Balloon Boy but more menacing. He has sharp teeth, red eyes with white pupils, and a red and purple hat and shirt, replacing the original red and blue. His mouth is surrounded by sharp teeth, creating a more sinister and terrifying look. In gameplay, he appears slouched in the office, and players must avoid shining the flashlight on him. When he stands up, players must shine the light on him to make him sit back down or he will attack. He also taunts the player with mocking quotes, hinting at his torture of victims. Nightmare BB is not only a threat in gameplay but also has a role in the lore, though his exact importance is still unknown. A sequel to the Five Nights at Freddy's movie is in production and is expected to be released in the fall of 2025. The movie will be adapted from the storyline of Five Nights at Freddy's 2 and is likely to introduce new animatronics.
