Eleazar Azoulay

Eleazar "Lazar" Azoulay is a major character featured in Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War and Call of Duty: Warzone. He was born on October 25, 1948, in Washington D.C., to political science professor parents, being their second child. His father later moved the family to Israel and took a position at the Tel Aviv School of Law and Economics. Lazar attended Royal Holloway, University of London for four years before joining the Israel Defense Forces, and was later recruited into Israel's intelligence agency, the Mossad. During his time with Mossad, he developed a reputation not only for his explosive power but also for his unflappability. After years working alongside CIA agents, Lazar left the Mossad, using his dual citizenship to join the CIA as a Middle East specialist. In 1981, Lazar was recruited into Russell Adler's team to stop Perseus, a Soviet spy and his network. He met his end during an operation in Cuba, but his team succeeded in stopping Perseus from detonating nuclear weapons across Europe. The character is voiced by actor Damon Dayoub.
