Raul Menendez

Raul Menendez is a prominent antagonist in the Call of Duty series, particularly serving as the main villain in Call of Duty: Black Ops II. He is a Nicaraguan political activist and terrorist, and the leader of the terrorist organization Cordis Die. Menendez's childhood was marked by war and suffering, with his family severely impacted by American-backed rebel forces, fueling his deep hatred for the Western world, especially the United States. The assassination of his father by the CIA and the disfigurement and subsequent death of his sister in a fire further intensified his desire for revenge against America. Menendez built his own drug cartel and eventually became a powerful terrorist, using his influence and resources to orchestrate attacks against the United States and China, attempting to control drones via cyber attacks to trigger global chaos and instability.
