Golden Deer

The Golden Deer is one of the three student houses at the Officers Academy in Garreg Mach Monastery in Fire Emblem: Three Houses. This house is comprised of students from the Leicester Alliance, and is led by Claude von Riegan, a noble. Compared to the other two houses, the Golden Deer has a higher proportion of students from commoner backgrounds, and many of them are skilled in using bows. The name and banner of the Golden Deer are inspired by sacred creatures that are said to have protected the Leicester region since ancient times. Players can choose to teach the Golden Deer, experiencing a unique storyline. Following the Academy phase, the Golden Deer students support Claude and fight against the Adrestrian Empire. If the player does not select the Golden Deer, they may encounter them as allies or enemies on other routes depending on recruitment. The Golden Deer's route is the 'Verdant Wind' route, in which players go through the war and ultimately resolve the game's conflicts.
