Dedue

Dedue, full name Dedue Molinaro, is a playable character in Fire Emblem: Three Houses. He is a member of the Blue Lions house and a loyal retainer to Dimitri. Dedue hails from Duscur, a region northwest of the Kingdom of Faerghus. After his homeland was destroyed in the Tragedy of Duscur and his people persecuted, he was rescued by Dimitri and swore his allegiance to him. Dedue is a stoic and quiet character with a kind heart, fiercely loyal to Dimitri and willing to sacrifice everything for him. In the game, Dedue is a strong tank character, possessing high defense and HP, proficient in axes, lances, and brawling, suitable for classes like Heavy Armor or Fortress Knight. His personal skill, 'Staunch Shield,' provides extra defense when he waits. Despite facing discrimination for his Duscur heritage, he is respectful and protective of his allies. His fate varies across different routes, but in the Blue Lions route, completing his paralogue allows him to return later in the story. Dedue is not only a powerful warrior but also a skilled cook who appreciates gardening and flowers.
