Ferdinand

Ferdinand von Aegir is a playable character in Fire Emblem: Three Houses. He is a noble of the Adrestian Empire, heir to the Aegir Dukedom, and a member of the Black Eagles house. Ferdinand takes great pride in his noble heritage and strives to be an exemplary leader. He is very hardworking and highly competitive, even seeing Edelgard, the princess of Adrestia, as a rival. While sometimes appearing overconfident, he is dedicated to continuous self-improvement. In the game, Ferdinand excels in various melee weapons such as lances, swords, and axes, boasting excellent HP, strength, and speed growth rates. He can function as a front-line tank protecting teammates or become an offensive character by utilizing his great mobility. He is playable from the start if the player chooses the Black Eagles house, or can be recruited if another house is chosen. Furthermore, Ferdinand’s personal ability, 'Confidence', grants him higher hit and avoid rates when at full health, and his crest of 'Cichol' gives him a chance to negate enemy counterattacks while using combat arts, and he can also obtain health recovery by equipping certain relics.
