Linhardt von Hevring is a playable character in Fire Emblem: Three Houses, belonging to the Black Eagles house. He is the heir to House Hevring, known for his extreme laziness and obsession with research. Linhardt is averse to tedious tasks and constraints, preferring to spend his time sleeping, fishing, or conducting crest research. Despite his apparent laziness, he possesses exceptional intelligence, particularly in the field of crests. His personal skill, 'Nap,' allows him to recover HP when he stands by without acting. He possesses the minor Crest of Cethleann, which gives him a chance to increase the potency of his recovery magic. In the game, Linhardt typically serves as a magic-based unit capable of using reason and faith magic. He dislikes fighting and bloodshed, but this does not prevent him from being a significant support character, especially in healing. He has a close relationship with Caspar, despite their contrasting personalities. Linhardt appears in Fire Emblem: Three Houses and its spin-off, Fire Emblem Warriors: Three Hopes. In different story routes, he may join or become an enemy depending on the player's choices and influences the story's progression. Overall, Linhardt is a unique character with high utility.
