Ingrid Brandl Galatea, commonly known as Ingrid, is a character who appears in Fire Emblem: Three Houses and Fire Emblem Warriors: Three Hopes. She is a noble from the Holy Kingdom of Faerghus, the heir to House Galatea, and a member of the Blue Lions house at the Officers Academy. She possesses a minor Crest of Daphnel. Ingrid aspired to become a knight from a young age, influenced by her childhood friend Glenn. Glenn's death in the Tragedy of Duscur affected Ingrid's character. She is known for being honest, hardworking, and an ideal knight who prefers fighting on the front lines to domestic life. Despite this, she has a penchant for delicious food and is shy when she has to dress up or put on makeup. In the game, Ingrid boasts high speed and evasion, often acting as an evasion tank or high-speed attacker in battle. She can learn various magic spells and adapt to multiple combat styles, making her a versatile character. She is also one of the few characters in the game who can wield Hero's Relics, which gives her an advantage in battles.
