Acacia Fence Gate

In Minecraft, the acacia fence gate is a special block that functions both as a door, swinging open, and as a fence, swinging closed. You can use it to enter and exit your fenced areas. To craft an acacia fence gate, you will need 4 sticks and 2 acacia planks. In Survival Mode, you'll need to open your crafting table and place these materials in a specific pattern within the 3x3 crafting grid: stick-plank-stick in the first row, and stick-plank-stick in the second row. Once crafted, move the new fence gate to your inventory for use. Acacia fence gates can connect to other fences and walls, but not to glass panes or iron bars. It can be controlled with redstone, and moved by pistons. In addition to being an obstacle, an acacia fence gate can be used as fuel for furnaces and placed under note blocks to produce bass sounds. Although it appears to be only one block high, it is actually a 1.5-block high barrier that most mobs cannot jump over. The textures and models of acacia fence gates have undergone changes in earlier versions of the game, but their basic functionality has remained constant.
