The Acacia Trapdoor is a block in Minecraft, a type of wooden trapdoor. It functions as an openable 1x1 barrier, being a solid block when closed, and allowing passage when open. Acacia trapdoors can be mined with any tool, but an axe is the fastest. They are crafted from six acacia planks, yielding two trapdoors per craft. You can find them in the Creative inventory. Like other wooden trapdoors, it can be opened and closed manually by the player, or through redstone signals. When placed on top of a block, it opens downward; when placed on the bottom, it opens upward. They are useful for making secret entrances, traps, or as decorative building elements. Like other wooden trapdoors, they can be used as furnace fuel, albeit inefficiently. In Java Edition, players can use it in conjunction with ladders for climbing, creating special climbing mechanisms. Additionally, trapdoors can block water and lava flows. They can be moved by pistons, and used to control the movement of boats, items, and minecarts. In short, acacia trapdoors are a versatile and useful block within the game.
