Amethyst Bud

Amethyst buds are unique blocks in Minecraft, part of amethyst geodes. They are the initial growth stages of amethyst clusters, progressing from small to medium to large amethyst buds. These buds cannot be crafted directly and must be found in survival mode within amethyst geodes and mined with a tool enchanted with Silk Touch. Amethyst buds do not drop items directly but must grow on budding amethyst blocks until they develop into mature amethyst clusters. They emit unique sounds when players walk on, break, place, or hit them with a projectile. Amethyst buds have different light levels, with small, medium, and large buds emitting light levels of 1, 2, and 4, respectively. Players mainly obtain amethyst buds by finding budding amethyst blocks within amethyst geodes. In creative mode, amethyst buds can be found directly in the inventory. Besides being a necessary stage for amethyst cluster growth, amethyst buds can be used as decorative blocks, adding a unique visual and sound experience to the player's world.
