Amethyst Clusters are a unique mineral in Minecraft, representing the final growth stage of Amethyst Buds. They are typically found within Amethyst Geodes, which are located underground. Amethyst Clusters cannot be crafted and must be discovered within the game world. They primarily serve as decorative elements and are also a key source of Amethyst Shards. When mined with a tool enchanted with Silk Touch, Amethyst Clusters drop themselves, while regular mining yields Amethyst Shards. Amethyst Clusters emit a faint light at all growth stages and produce unique sounds when interacted with or hit by projectiles. Their growth depends on being attached to Budding Amethyst blocks, progressing from small, medium, and large Amethyst Buds before finally becoming an Amethyst Cluster. Each growth stage of amethyst emits a different light level. The introduction of Amethyst Clusters has enriched exploration and decoration in Minecraft, providing players with more diverse gameplay options.
