Bamboo Fence

A bamboo fence is a decorative block in Minecraft, functioning similarly to other fences in the game. It was introduced in the 1.20 “Trails & Tales” update. Bamboo fences are primarily made from bamboo planks and sticks, which players can craft. The crafting recipe requires four bamboo planks and two sticks, yielding three bamboo fences. Bamboo fences act as barriers, preventing most mobs from passing through, though players can easily traverse them. Unlike walls, bamboo fences have visual gaps, allowing players to see through them. They can also be used to tether mobs with leads or as fuel in furnaces. Bamboo fences do not connect to nether brick fences but will connect to wooden fence gates. Bamboo, the main component for bamboo fences, is a versatile plant found primarily in jungle biomes, also used for crafting scaffolding and as food for pandas. Besides bamboo fences, the game also includes other fence types like wooden fences and nether brick fences, all serving as decorative blocks or barriers.
