Bamboo Pressure Plate

The Bamboo Pressure Plate is a non-solid block in Minecraft, part of the redstone mechanisms, introduced in the 1.20 "Trails & Tales" update. It emits a redstone signal when an entity (including players, mobs, items, etc.) stands on it. Crafting a Bamboo Pressure Plate requires two bamboo planks. Similar to wooden pressure plates, it can be triggered by any entity and provides a redstone signal at maximum strength. It can be used to make various automation devices or mechanisms. In creative mode, the Bamboo Pressure Plate can be found in the "Mechanisms" tab of the inventory. It can be placed on top of most blocks but not on their sides or bottoms. Moreover, it does not block entities from moving, but activates adjacent redstone circuits. The height of a bamboo pressure plate is 1/16 of a block when inactive and 1/32 of a block when activated. It can be used to open doors, activate TNT, or power command blocks.
