Bee Nest

Original Title:Bee Nest

Languages:

  • Chinese: 蜂巢
  • English: Bee Nest
In Minecraft, a Bee Nest is a naturally generated block that serves as a home for bees. They are commonly found attached to trees, particularly oak, birch, and cherry trees. Bee Nests gradually fill with honey as bees collect pollen and return to them, and once the honey level reaches its maximum (level 5), the nest's appearance changes, and honey particles begin to drip from it. Players can collect honey using glass bottles or obtain honeycombs using shears. It's important to note that breaking or harvesting a Bee Nest without precautions (such as placing a campfire underneath) will anger the bees inside, causing them to attack the player. Using a tool enchanted with Silk Touch, however, allows players to harvest the Bee Nest without angering the bees and while retaining the bees inside. Moreover, Bee Nests are a renewable resource since trees grown near flowers have a chance of generating with a bee nest. Bee Nests were added to Minecraft in version 1.15, the "Buzzy Bees" update, introducing new mechanics and challenges to the game.
