  • English: Blackstone Wall
The Blackstone Wall is a decorative block in Minecraft, a variant of the wall block. Similar to fences, it is used to create boundaries because players and most mobs cannot climb or jump over them. Blackstone Walls are primarily made of Blackstone, a dark-colored block found in the Nether, similar to cobblestone or cobbled deepslate. These walls naturally generate in bastion remnants and can also be crafted. To craft a Blackstone Wall, six Blackstone blocks are required, producing six Blackstone Walls. They are 1.5 blocks tall, but only occupy 1 block of space, making them an efficient option for fencing. Blackstone Walls automatically connect to adjacent walls, iron bars, and glass panes, forming continuous wall structures. Additionally, they can be placed under note blocks to produce a "bass drum" sound. Like other walls, Blackstone Walls have a center post that is displayed when certain blocks (such as banners, pressure plates, etc.) are above, otherwise forming a flat wall surface. The Blackstone Wall is ideal for Nether-themed builds.
