  • English: Block of Amethyst
A Block of Amethyst is a decorative block in Minecraft that can also be used in redstone circuits. It is primarily obtained in two ways: found naturally in amethyst geodes underground, or crafted using four amethyst shards. The Block of Amethyst has a distinctive purple appearance with a glossy texture and emits a unique sound when players or mobs walk on, break, or place it. Beyond its decorative use, the block has an important function of interacting with sculk sensors, which allow it to transmit vibration frequencies, enabling wireless redstone transmission. This makes the block a useful component in redstone circuits, helping players build more complex automation devices. Introduced in the 1.17 Caves & Cliffs update, the Block of Amethyst added new aesthetic and functional elements to the game. Players can explore underground in survival mode to find amethyst geodes, or craft blocks of amethyst from collected amethyst shards to experience the game's fun.
