The Calibrated Sculk Sensor is a craftable block introduced in Minecraft version 1.20. It is an upgraded version of the Sculk Sensor, featuring an increased detection range and faster detection speed. The Calibrated Sculk Sensor can detect vibrations within a 16-block radius, which is twice that of a regular Sculk Sensor. Unlike the regular Sculk Sensor, the Calibrated Sculk Sensor can be adjusted using redstone signals to only react to vibrations of a specific frequency. This allows players to create more complex and precise redstone contraptions. To craft a Calibrated Sculk Sensor, you will need one Sculk Sensor and three Amethyst Shards. Place the Sculk Sensor in the center of a crafting table and surround it with the three Amethyst Shards to craft the Calibrated Sculk Sensor. A key feature of the Calibrated Sculk Sensor is its ability to filter specific vibration frequencies. By applying a redstone signal to its input, you can make it react only to vibration frequencies that match the signal strength. This provides greater flexibility in redstone circuit design and allows for the implementation of various complex functions, such as traps or mechanisms that only activate during specific events. Additionally, when the Calibrated Sculk Sensor is waterlogged, it can still detect vibrations but does not produce sound.
