Languages:

  • Chinese: 制图台
  • English: Cartography Table
The cartography table is a utility block in Minecraft, primarily used for cloning, zooming out, and locking maps. It also serves as the job site block for cartographer villagers. A cartography table can be obtained by breaking it with any tool or by hand, although using an axe is fastest. Cartography tables generate naturally inside cartographer houses in villages. It allows players to manage maps more efficiently, such as zooming out a map to reveal a larger area, copying existing maps to create backups, and locking maps to prevent alterations. The cartography table saves paper and allows the addition of pointers to maps, creating empty maps, and renaming maps (Bedrock Edition only). Besides map functions, a cartography table can be used as fuel for furnaces, smelting 1.5 items per block, and can produce bass sounds when placed under note blocks.
