Cherry Planks

Cherry planks are an important building and crafting material in Minecraft. They were introduced in the 1.20 update, “Trails & Tales,” adding a new type of wood with a distinct pink hue to the game. Players can craft cherry planks by placing cherry logs, cherry wood, stripped cherry logs, or stripped cherry wood in a crafting table, yielding 4 planks per craft. These planks are not only used for constructing houses and other structures but can also serve as fuel in furnaces, each plank burning for 15 seconds and smelting/cooking 1.5 items. Furthermore, cherry planks are used to craft various items such as stairs, fences, doors, boats, and more. The introduction of cherry planks enriches the game's visual appeal and provides players with more building options. Besides vanilla Minecraft, mods like “Biomes O' Plenty” also add variants of cherry planks, providing even more diverse options. In creative mode, cherry planks can be found in the inventory.
