Chiseled Bookshelf

The Chiseled Bookshelf is a block introduced in Minecraft version 1.20. It is a decorative bookshelf, different from regular bookshelves in that it uses brown books and can actually store books. Players can store regular books, enchanted books, books and quills, and written books in the Chiseled Bookshelf. Each Chiseled Bookshelf can hold up to six books, which are visually represented on the shelf. Players can add or remove books by clicking on the shelf; there is no graphical user interface. Additionally, the Chiseled Bookshelf has redstone functionality, emitting a redstone signal related to the last interacted book slot. A redstone comparator can read this signal, and an observer block can detect when books are added or removed. Chiseled Bookshelves can be destroyed with any tool, but an axe is the fastest. Breaking it will cause the books within to drop, while using a tool with Silk Touch will drop the bookshelf itself. Crafting a Chiseled Bookshelf requires 6 wood planks and 3 wood slabs, using any type of wood for the planks and slabs. Chiseled Bookshelves do not increase the power of enchanting tables. They can be used as fuel in furnaces, smelting 1.5 items. When placed under note blocks, they produce a bass note.
