Chiseled copper is a decorative block in Minecraft, introduced in the 1.21 Tricky Trials Update. It can be crafted using two cut copper slabs at a crafting table, or by using a block of copper at a stonecutter. Chiseled copper has four stages of oxidation: initial, exposed, weathered, and oxidized. Over time, copper will naturally oxidize, changing its color from brown to green. Honeycombs can be used to wax the copper, preventing it from oxidizing further. Waxed chiseled copper will not continue to oxidize and is identical in appearance to the non-waxed version. An axe can be used to scrape off the wax, and can also be used to remove oxidation layers. Chiseled copper generates naturally in trial chambers and can be used for decoration and building.
