In Minecraft, the Cobbled Deepslate Slab is a unique building block introduced in the Caves & Cliffs Update: Part I. It's primarily obtained by crafting it using three Cobbled Deepslate in a crafting table in Survival mode, yielding six slabs at a time. Cobbled Deepslate itself is obtained by mining Deepslate with a pickaxe, which is mostly found below Y-level 0. This slab can be used for building and decoration, and also functions as a note block producing a bass drum sound. Cobbled Deepslate Slabs can be found in the Creative inventory and naturally generate in ancient cities. It functions similarly to regular stone or blackstone slabs and can be used to craft other deepslate variants, like polished deepslate and deepslate bricks. Its ID and data values vary across different Minecraft versions, such as Java and Bedrock editions. Players can also use the /give command to obtain it. Cobbled Deepslate Slabs are useful materials with good hardness, making them suitable for building defensive structures.
