In Minecraft, the cobbled deepslate wall is a wall variant crafted from cobbled deepslate. It was introduced in the Caves & Cliffs Update: Part I. Players can craft six cobbled deepslate walls at a time using six cobbled deepslate in a crafting table. Cobbled deepslate walls can be found in the creative inventory. In survival mode, players need to open a crafting table and place six cobbled deepslate in a specific 3x2 pattern in the crafting grid. Once crafted, players need to move it to their inventory. Cobbled deepslate walls also generate naturally in ancient cities. They can be mined with any pickaxe, but if mined without a pickaxe, they drop nothing. Cobbled deepslate walls can be placed under note blocks to produce a bass drum sound. Alternatively, they can be crafted using a stonecutter with cobbled deepslate. Cobbled deepslate itself is a stone variant similar to cobblestone or blackstone, obtainable by mining deepslate or generating naturally in ancient cities or trial chambers, but a pickaxe is required for harvesting. Deepslate generates below Y=0 in the Overworld and a Silk Touch enchanted pickaxe is required to obtain Deepslate directly; otherwise, it drops cobbled deepslate.
