Cobweb
In Minecraft, cobwebs are a special type of block that significantly slow down the movement of entities. Players cannot craft cobwebs; instead, they must be found in specific locations such as abandoned mineshafts, stronghold libraries, igloo basements, abandoned villages, and woodland mansion spider spawner rooms. Cobwebs themselves are non-flammable, but when broken with a sword they drop string, while shears can be used to collect the cobweb block itself. Cobwebs effectively slow down the movement of both players and mobs, making them ideal for setting traps and creating delays in redstone circuits. Additionally, falling into a cobweb prevents fall damage, providing some utility in construction. While they existed as an unused block in the game's early versions, cobwebs were officially added in subsequent updates, gradually becoming an integral part of the game.
