Copper Door

Original Title:Copper Door

Languages:

  • Chinese: 铜门
  • English: Copper Door
In Minecraft, the copper door is a type of door made of copper, similar to wooden doors, which can be opened manually or by redstone signals. Introduced in the 1.21 'Tricky Trials' update, the copper door oxidizes and turns green over time. Players can craft three copper doors at a time using six copper ingots at a crafting table. Copper doors can be used in constructions, and provide a unique visual effect due to their oxidation process. Copper doors can be opened by players, villagers, piglins, and vindicators, and some zombies and vindicators can break them in Hard difficulty. They can also be controlled by redstone signals. Additionally, in Java Edition, copper doors can create air pockets underwater and block water, but not in Bedrock Edition. They also generate naturally in trial chambers. The oxidation of copper doors can be prevented by using honeycomb to wax them, or can be reversed by using an axe, or through a lightning strike. Copper doors share the same oxidation characteristics as copper trapdoors, which can be used together to create characteristic copper constructions in Minecraft.
